What is a Children's Museum?

The Children’s Museum of St. Croix is a different kind of museum. Unlike some museums that instruct visitors to “look but don’t touch,” the Children’s Museum welcomes and encourages children to touch, explore, have fun, create, talk, laugh, discover, and – along the way – learn. It’s less about exhibits and more about experiences.

At the Children’s Museum, children can make new friends, learn to work and play together, and help each other, all while learning through doing. Through creative expression, exploration, experimentation, and discovery, they will learn about science, math, engineering, technology, and the arts in a no-judgment, no-grades, and all-fun environment! Children can spend as much or as little time on an activity as they want. Unlike school, the fun doesn’t end with the bell!
