Children’s Museum Brings Out the Best in STX Youth

St. Croix - They say a picture is worth a thousand words, if so, the laughter of a child must be worth its weight in gold. You can reach out to every part of the world, every island, every small town, every crowded street, you can see and hear all sorts of sights, all sorts of sounds, all sorts of lovely songs, but when you see and hear the sound of a child laughing and playing, when you look into their eyes and see the spark of knowledge growing, of excitement bubbling over, there is really nothing else like it on God’s Great Earth.

Many of the dozens of children attending the Children’s Literary Festival couldn’t read, but the activities led by volunteers of the Children’s Museum of St. Croix didn’t require knowing their letters but taught valuable lessons to children of all ages.

Neurodiversity Fair at Children’s Museum of St. Croix

The Children’s Museum of St. Croix will be hosting the 3rd Annual Neurodiversity Fair on Saturday, April 19 from 10 a.m. to 2p.m. in collaboration with the following agencies:

Thirteen Nonprofits Receive $534K From SCF to Preserve St. Croix’s Cultural Heritage

Thirteen nonprofits and community organizations on St. Croix have been awarded a total of $534,000 through the St. Croix Foundation for Community Development’s 2025 Healing Humanities Cultural Place-Keeping Grant Program, the foundation announced in a press release.
